Overview Management of the overall plant, production, maintenance, quality and despatch in line with strategy to deliver enhanced productivity and efficiencies
Purpose Management of the overall plant, production, maintenance, quality and despatch in line with strategy to deliver enhanced productivity and efficiencies
Key Responsibilities 1. Duties will include overall responsibility for operations including: monitoring and reporting on plant maintenance, production and despatch
2. Implementing and maintaining systems design and compliance
3. Formulation and implementation of the operations strategy including: maintenance plans, production plans, quality improvement plans
4. Budget formulation and implementation
5. Facilitating shop floor development initiatives
6. Development and training of team members
7. Ensure conformance to procedures and policies with regards to safe working practices and standard machine operation
Required Experience Related image

 

1. Bakery management experience will be advantageous
2. Sound working experience of the baking/plant maintenance processes and the Bakery environment
3. Knowledge and previous experience of plant maintenance, production and administration management in a bakery
4. Previous experience of production and engineering principles in a bakery environment
5. Knowledge of a bread despatch system and despatch logistics will be an advantage
6. Effective Industrial Relations skills
7. Computer literate (MS Office)
8. A sound knowledge of general management principles
